Installing Windows on A Mac Book Pro (Part I)

Last week i decided to Bite the bullet and try two things

One use a new hard disk and install only windows on a Mac book pro

Opening up the Mac Book Pro

    But, can I install Windows 7 on the same HDD which was shipped with Macbook Pro ... ? As far as I've read I think a 3rd party software is needed ..
