Last week i decided to Bite the bullet and try two things
One use a new hard disk and install only windows on a Mac book pro
please feel free to comment
Opening up the Mac Book Pro
Hard Disk Bottom View
Hard Disk Top View
Bottom view Unopened
Bottom View Opened
The Hitachi Internal Hard Disk Drive
The Holding plate with all the screws
Removing the Hard Disk With the plastic tape
The Hard Disk with the Cable Still Attached
The SATA Cable Connector
Note The holding screws you require a Hex screwdriver to remove them
Note the Special Hex Screws on the HDD
The HDD Screws , these have to be fitted on the New HDD
First Error Message
Finally Windows is Loading
Please note you have to Format the partition
Install in Progress
Here are the System Properties
A Better Screen Shot
Now All drivers Installed
Windows Rating on the Mac Book Pro 15 inch

Fabulous and a comprehensive coverage on the topic.
ReplyDeleteBut, can I install Windows 7 on the same HDD which was shipped with Macbook Pro ... ? As far as I've read I think a 3rd party software is needed ..
